Krannert Center for the Performing Arts is recognized as the nation’s premier university-based performing arts center. Every year numerous performances of dance, music, and theater take place in its various venues. The Great Hall welcomes world class performers who rave about the acoustics. The intimate Studio Theater in the black box style is perfect for experimental plays. Every performance is promoted across a variety of media. Senior Designer Nic Mulvaney called me after receiving a referral for my freelance design services. Being shorthanded, he needed an experienced designer to produce posters at the high level of excellence that KCPA demands. The directors have a lot of input into the visuals, and also allow for creative freedom in the design. These are dream projects for a graphic designer. Once the main poster design is approved, I resize into a variety of sizes, formats, and deliverables.
